I am presently Chair of the State Bar of Texas Disability Rights and Issues Committee for 2022-2023.
In the past, I have served on the Board of the Houston Rotary Club, as Chair of the Distinguished Citizen Committee of the Houston Rotary Club, as Vice-President of the National Lawyer’s Guild for the Texoma region, founding Chair for the Houston Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, and Chair of the ACLU of Texas legal committee.
I believe its important to give back to our community by sharing our strengths wherever they can help others. A wise reader will note the apparent conflicts in the politics in organizations where I have engaged in leadership. I believe that politics should never be a part of any of our community and legal work. I believe that noone should face criminal allegations or personal attack or serve time in prison for any political belief or statement.
